The following timings will be observed by D.A.V, Dayanand Vihar from the commencement of new academic session

7.40 am to 1:25 pm

Every Second and last Saturday will be holiday.
Last working day of the month will also be off for students.

VI to X

7:40 am to 1:50 pm
|
Second and Last Saturday of the month is off for students.
Rest all Saturday's are working days.

XI & XII
|
7:40 am to 1:50 pm
|
All Saturdays are off.

NOTE : The school is open 6 days a week (Except 2nd Saturday of every month)
- All Public Dealings: 7:45 A.M. to 9:30 A.M.
- Visiting hours to meet the principal: 9.30 A.M. to 10.30 A.M (wednesday to saturday)
- Visiting hours to meet school counselor: 7.45 A.M. to 9.15 A.M. (All working days)
- Visiting hours to meet class teacher/ subject teacher / Incharge for classes VI to XII 7.45 A.M. to 8.15 A.M.
- For classes II to V as per prior appointment by the concerned teacher
- Attestations or Signatures to be obtained from the Principal on any form /document must be submitted at the reception before 9:30 am. The same will be returned on the same day between 12:30 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. or on the next working day between 7:45 am to 9:30 am.
- To obtain certificate of any kind, an application must be submitted at Window No.1 of the Administrative Office between 7:45 am to 9:30 am. The certificate will be issued on the next working day and can be collected between 12:30 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. from the same counter
- Lunch Timing for administrative block: 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ENTRY TO THE SCHOOL PREMISES BETWEEN 9.30 A.M. – 12.30 P.M. IS STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED
Rules Concerning Absence and Withdrawal
1. Leave for half day will not be granted for security reasons. In case of emergency please contact the school reception. If due to any emergency the child has to leave early from school, the parent must obtain a written permission from the Principal. Do not send the child to school on the day when there is any social engagement or medical appointment during school hours.
2. A prior written application (for plausible reason only) from parents is requested before any leave is granted. A student absent continuously for 10 days without prior intimation to the authorities may be asked to withdraw from the school.
3. Leave taken must be entered in the leave record page of the diary.
4. All those students
- Who fail to show satisfactory progress
- Whose fees are in arrear after the 10th of the month in which fee is payable.
- Whose conduct and misbehavior in the opinion of the Principal harms the interest of the school.
- Who fails twice in the same class, May be asked to withdraw from school.
5. Leave will not be granted for absence from school prior to a Test/Examination/Assessment.
6. Parents are advised to inform the concerned class teacher regarding any medical ailment or allergy, students suffering from infectious disease like conjunctivitis, dermitis, measles, mumps etc. should not be sent to school. Fitness certificate must be produce at the time of re-joining.
