Shaheed Rajpal DAV organized a three-day SRDAV Lit Fest 2023- A   celebration of literature and beyond to give a platform to students’ creativity. The aim of the fest was to nurture 21st century skills in pupils. The meticulously planned inter house and class  activities encouraged students to think critically and innovatively, collaborate with others, and communicate clearly through various mediums.The event witnessed the distinguished presence of Dr. NK Uberoi, Vice President DAV CMC and Chairman of the school, Mrs. Vandana Kapoor, former Principal SLS DAV Mausam Vihar and Dr. Anuraag Awasthi, a renowned author and corporate trainer.    

 The various hues of writings of Vikram Seth, Sarojini Naidu, Rabindranath Tagore, William Wordsworth, Robert Frost, William Shakespeare were beautifully showcased through the board decoration competition which were displayed at the exhibition that was held for pupils, parents and teachers on the concluding day of the fest. The competitions were adjudged by the PTA members.

The fest was a feast of colour and creativity. Students designed pen stands on Indian folk art and wall hanging with inspiring quotes .The pupils designed paper bags, diary, folder and book jackets which carried different shades of literature.

An interactive session for students was held with Dr Anuraag Awasthi  who mentored students for  eloquent writing skills.

Mrs Vinita Kapoor, Principal, congratulated the teachers and students’ efforts for bringing the event together. In her address she stated that introducing students to pre vocational skills prepares them for making more informed career choices.
